Brief
Founded in 1946, The Links, Incorporated is one of the nation’s oldest and most respected volunteer service organizations, with over 17,000 professional women of African descent across 300 chapters. In 2018, the organization sought a modern redesign of its official national website to better reflect its legacy, values, and impact while improving accessibility and navigation for members and the public.
What We Did
We led the full website redesign, focusing on elegant usability and strong visual storytelling. The new site balanced The Links’ rich heritage with a refreshed, contemporary interface — incorporating updated color palettes, refined typography, and a streamlined content structure that improved both user experience and backend management. Every design choice was made to honor the organization’s history while positioning it for a new digital era.
Result
The updated website strengthened The Links, Incorporated’s national digital presence, unifying their online identity across chapters and enhancing engagement with members, partners, and the broader community. The redesign received positive feedback for its clarity, aesthetic excellence, and representation of the organization’s legacy of service and excellence.
